What it is
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide, meaning a chain of fifteen amino acids. Its sequence is derived from a larger protein identified in human gastric juice. It is stable in aqueous solution, which is one reason it appears frequently in laboratory research relative to more fragile peptides.
